Chris Neal, Australia

Winds of Isis. 1974 M7

Winds of Isis is an instrumental, mellotron heavy, symphonic rock work. At its best, the music recalls the early albums by Duncan Mackay and Mike Oldfield. The music is relatively simplistic, but highly melodic. I was also reminded some of the French group Catharsis and even Roland Bocquet's Paradia. This is certain to appeal to fans of lush symphonic rock and comes recommended.
