Fairchild. 1978 Flight
Minneapolis based AOR styled progressive rock band. Strong overtones to the top acts of the era like Kansas, Boston, Journey and Styx - especially the latter. Though the album is private, it looks and sounds like a major label effort.
They also have two later albums from the 80s that also aren't on CD.

Very popular Minnesota band who were playing the bars locally around the same time as Chameleon (Yanni's band). Fairchild released three albums, the second 'Shadowland' was produced by James Walsh formerly of Gypsy. A winning spot on the syndicated 80s TV talent show 'Star Search' landed them a national contract with MCA subsidiary Gold Mountain. Horrific pop rock and the album predictably tanked.
